Welcome to Mostly Postal! I am a long time crafter with a passion for creating with paper. I am also drawn to all the beautiful postage stamps out there that miscellaneous artists have graciously shared.
Mostly Postal started coming together when a couple of weeks after we moved to a new community, the pandemic hit. I found myself with a lot of newly organized materials and the time to work with them. A diagnosis of Parkinson’s also began to limit my precision in how I was used to doing some of my artwork.
I had always marveled at the work of collage artists and thought I’d give it a try. I started trying to come up with art that told a story. When I bought a third box of mini canvasses, it was time to figure out what to do with all of these, and here we are.
